When we started the Massive Bookshop, we imagined that it would have a cooperative structure: a worker-owned co-op, or a customer-owned co-op, or both. We think co-ops are rad as hell! However, it turned out that we don't like working enough to form a worker-owned co-op; and we don't like capital enough to ask our customers to provide us with it.

Instead, we offer you this: MASSIVE UNCOORDINATED BULK BUYS (M.U.B.B.). All books below are priced at our wholesale cost; so you pay what we pay, no more and no less.

Note that the deeper discount of 40-50% is not indicated below, but will be applied to your cart at checkout.

These deals are so great that it's almost like you work at our bookstore yourself; except that you don't, thankfully. (Who has the time?!) You just get the benefit of working here, whether you want it or not.

And if, all the same, you don't mind paying a little more than we paid for the books, you can add a tip at checkout. All tips collected in this manner are donated to bail funds, so the extra money we get helps get some people out of jail.

These deals won't last forever, of course. We'll be adding pre-orders for titles we're anticipating as well as timely books from the backlist. At some point, when the moment has passed, we'll have to reprice these books and remove them from the collection.
