After enacting revenge for the death of his parents, Jimmy Crumb is a fugitive, and he’s made a stop in a small New England town to rest. But on his first night there, Jimmy witnesses a strange woman, who reminds him of his deceased mother, dancing in the rain and singing incantations few people would recognize. Incantations used for evil purposes.
Despite the locals telling Jimmy she’s just the town loon, Jimmy Crumb follows her home and is plunged into a series of lovecraftian-like horrors related to the woman’s family and the town. Not the least of which is a demon that wants to take the infamous Jimmy Crumb to Hell as a trophy.
Jimmy must not only save himself, but the woman in the rain. And not just from the evil forces around her, but her own mind.
