Hokis is almost a great witch—if you ignore the part where she turned her entire hometown into frogs. Oops! With her mentor Pokis (currently stuck as a frog and very tired of it), she sets off to find the mythical Yundu, a relic that can reverse any spell… theoretically.
Along the way, she teams up with Ugh, an overly polite orc squire; Bonnie, a living flame with attitude; and Mareau, a skeleton chef who can’t taste his own food. Together, they bungle through spider weddings, snowstorms caused by dragons with the sniffles, exploding soup, undead diners, and a treasure-hoarding raven beast with very questionable taste.
Hokis may be a magical mess, but with a little courage, a little teamwork, and a LOT of “please,” she just might fix her mistakes—and discover the wizard she’s meant to become.
