This keepsake hard cover edition of The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the CORINTHIANS was taken from the King James translation of the Bible. The King James Translation is a masterwork of style and the most important book in the English language it  has been the driving force in shaping the English-speaking world for hundreds of years.

Paul wrote this letter to correct what he saw as erroneous views in the Corinthian church.  He urged uniformity of belief in Christian doctrine. Divisions within the church at Corinth seem to be a problem and Paul makes it a point to mention these conflicts in the beginning of the letter. The letter is also notable for mentioning the role of women in churches. After discussing his views on worshiping idols Paul ends with his views on resurrection. He states that Christ died for our sins and was buried and rose on the third day according to the scriptures.
