On top of that, her relationship with her father is distant—so much so that she doesn’t even dare tell him that the college of her dreams has deferred her application and that her future is hangs in the air. That’s why, when she decides to spend the holidays in White Falls—the snowy little town where her mother grew up—Sofie thinks there’s no worse plan.
But everything changes when she finds her mother’s diary in the attic of the family home. Determined to discover more about her, Sofie will follow in her footsteps. And she won’t be doing it alone: Josh, her childhood crush, will cross her path, with his infectious cheer and far too many things left unsaid.
