Open Pop-Up and Play: Museum to reveal four quadrants showing the different rooms of a museum, with interactive elements in each one, plus an extra activity to find a missing toy dinosaur!

This book is designed to encourage imaginative play and to introduce children to the wonders of a museum. Young visitors can take an interactive tour through four rooms, which encompass varied subject matter including history, natural history, and Earth science, as well as a peak inside the archives.

Quadrant 1
Main Hall—Includes an enormous pop-up T-rex skeleton, moving stegosaurus, and a cabinet full of fossils.

Quadrant 2
History Hall—Includes an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus that opens to reveal a mummy, flaps that reveal different species of early humans, and a wheel that moves knights on horseback.

Quadrant 3
Nature Hall—Includes pop-up African animals at a watering hole, a visit behind the scenes to look inside the museum archives, as well as a rummage through Lost Property.

Quadrant 4
Earth Hall, Café, and Gift Shop—Includes an erupting volcano, a display of the planets, a mysterious cupboard (what’s inside?), and lastly, of course, a trip to the café and gift ship.
