It's hard to repress herself enough to stay in the closet, but things get even more confusing when Melanie wants to be more than friends, and when Heather starts developing crushes on Jason and Paula. As Heather experiments with letting people see who she really is and dips her toe into dating, she slowly finds the courage and community that she needs to be herself--no matter what other people might think.
