Since graduating with a MFA from the University of Cincinnati in 1972, he has shown his work in venues throughout the United States. His hard work was recognized in 2006 when he was awarded a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship in Fine Arts. Frank continues to pursue Asmat themes in his work in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he and his wife Stephanie raised their two sons, Jason and Zachary."
