Her multidisciplinary oeuvre combines traditional techniques with contemporary applications, often on a monumental scale. Her work explores humanity, social engagement, vulnerability, dehumanization and transcendence.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eAs a young girl Cabellut was profoundly affected by the Old Masters at the Prado Museum in Madrid, an encounter that ultimately led her to the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Her art reveals the influence of Goya, Velázquez, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Rothko, Kiefer, Bacon and Beuys. In this publication she demonstrates how Goya’s \u003ci\u003eDisparates \u003c\/i\u003ehave inspired her.
